About me:
Dr. Kakani Sudhkar received his doctorate from the Department of Telugu, University of Hyderabad. His specializations are Dalit and Modern Literature. He has published 5 Books and 10 research articles in his credit in various national and international reputed journals. He also participated and presented many papers in various national and international conferences, workshops, symposiums and seminars in India. He has co-ordinated many seminars, conferences, symposiums and delivered lecturers in various academic institutions on Literature and Social Justice. Moreover he worked as BOS Member in various Colleges in the State and also regularly participating University observer for Under- Graduate and Post- Graduate in Acharya Nagarjuna University Affiliated Colleges. Dr. Kakani Sudhakar is well known Dalit Poet and also actively participating contemporary debates in TV channels in Andhra Pradesh. Besides, he is one of funder members and State General Secretary in Dalit Aided College Teachers Association (DACTA, AP). His ideas and ideologies are Social Justice in India and strong believer and Ambedkarist in modern India. He is also Convener in Bhahujana Rachiyithala Sangam, Andhra Pradesh conducting many programmees. More importantly, he was worked for Jhashuva Sahityam and having more knowledge on Gurram Jhashuva Literature and conducting Gurram Jhashuva Jayanthi and Vardhanthi celebrations and got Jhasuva award from Government of Andhra Pradesh. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Telugu, S S & N College, Narasraopet, Guntur District. (Affiliate with Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh)
